There are 47 African nations led by leaders who have been ruling for over a decade. Some of these leaders and their families are very rich and their wealth are considered ill-gotten. They make their wealth from natural resources of these nations.
In compiling this yearly list, i have considers factors such as upfront pay, profit participation, residuals, endorsements and advertising work.

Zimbabwean President, Robert Mugabe is the longest serving African President. He has been in power for over 25 years. His net worth is estimated to be around $30 million. The dictator’s family is very wealthy. Mugabe has won many elections, although frequently these have been criticized by outsiders for violating various electoral procedures.

Mugabe’s massive property, which made a large contoversy among zimbabweans, reportedly worth more than $10 million was, according to presidential spokesperson George Charamba, built through donations from Zanu PF and unknown well-wishers.
